At AMT, the Association For Manufacturing Technology, I was a part of the original design team for MT Magazine. We switched from a newspaper to a magazine so that our content could be more dynamic and engaging.

Process
Since AMT had never done a magazine before this was new territory for us all. My senior designer at the time, built the initial layout and I created all the graphics for the initial issue including the cover, infographic, and feature story illustrations. From there, I took over the layout and continued to refine the overall look as well as the illustrations as we carried out the first 6 editions of the magazine in 2022. The switch from a newspaper to this innovative magazine allowed AMT to have a more effective print medium that other advertisers and readers were more excited to engage with.
