Jacob McCloskey is a designer that knows his way around the keyboard as well as the pencil box. Studying at George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College has allowed him to develop strong skills in both graphic design and illustration.
He also had the opportunity to spend valuable time as a graphic design intern at Prison Fellowship Ministries (https://www.prisonfellowship.org/) and as a design assistant at Holton Design (http://www.holtondesigninc.com/). In these positions, he was able to design logos, documents, and various marketing products within each company’s respective branding and styles. At GMU, I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. I plan on graduating in the Fall semester of 2020.
I began my graphic design studies at NOVA prior to attending George Mason University. After two years of classes, I was able to transfer to GMU with about 48 credits already earned.
As the Graphic design intern, I worked on editing photos/documents, assisting with print design, logo creation, and other various design tasks.
At Holton Design, I worked on a variety of tasks and projects. My daily assignments would include screen printing, design assistance, and customer interaction.
